Patriots add incentives of $5M to Brady’s deal
The New England Patriots will add $5 million in performance-based incentives to quarterback Tom Brady’s contract by this weekend.
Brady, 41, who won his third NFL MVP award in 2017, is to make $15 million this season and is set to count $22 million against the Patriots’ salary cap because of a $7 million charge on a previous signing bonus.
The NFL’S higest-paid quarterback is Atlanta’s Matt Ryan, who is to make $30 million this season.
Vikings: Guard Nick Easton,
