Readers help track down pimento cheese

-

La lot of other Southern foods, pimento cheese can be tough to find in Southern Nevada, but two readers have suggestions for Jill Peterson, who’s been looking for it. Paula Reber said she purchased it at the Walmart Family Market at 5850 W. Craig Road, and Ann Brown said it’s available at Sprouts Farmers Market.

Also for Peterson, who’s looking for a bakery that sells gluten-free products, Jan Calvert, owner of Senza Gluten-free Bakery at 9640 W. Tropicana Ave., said she’d be happy to help out with whatever Peterson needs. And Brown suggested Sprouts.

For Mike Hansen, who’s looking for ring bologna, Tim Clark reported finding it in the deli at the Sprouts at 4020 S. Rainbow Blvd.

For David Wilgar, Jan Visser said halibut fish and chips is available at the Big Sur Oyster Bar at the South Point.

And for Peggy Luerssen, Cathy Bourne said she spotted Stouffer’s Seasoning Wraps at the Walmart in Pahrump.

More on fried chicken livers: Ceci Schreiber said they’re available on Thursday nights at the Rampart Buffet at the Rampart Casino at the Resort at Summerlin.
