2-1-1 6-0-0 1-1-1 2-2-1 1-2-0 2-1-1 1-4-1 3-2-0 Maple Leafs forward Patrick Marleau on Nov. 6 in a loss at Toronto.

Haula was removed on a stretcher and ruled out for the remainder of the Knights’ road trip, which ended Sunday.

The Knights were off Tuesday, and an update on Haula’s status is expected at Wednesday’s morning skate. The Knights play the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night at T-mobile Arena.

Haula has two goals and seven points in 15 games.

The move, retroactive to Nov. 6, leaves the Knights roster at 22. The team did not recall anyone from the American Hockey League on Tuesday to take Haula’s spot.

The Knights already are without center Paul Stastny. General manager George Mcphee said last week in an interview with Sportsnet’s Hockey Central at Noon in Toronto that Stastny is “probably still a couple of months away.”

Tuch: Stay focused

Wing Alex Tuch is all in on coach Gerard Gallant’s philosophy of not thinking too far ahead. One game, one period, one shift at a time, the coach often says.

“Since I was probably 5 years old, my dad has literally driven into my mind to play shift by shift and game by game,” Tuch said Tuesday on the Review-journal’s Golden Edge podcast. “You have a bad game, think about it for five or 10 minutes, move on and worry about the next one.”

The wisdom has proven beneficial for Tuch, who has been one of the bright spots in the Knights’ disappointing start.

Tuch, 22, was rewarded with a lucrative long-term deal early this season and has four goals and nine points in 10 games since returning from an injury that delayed his start. He’s tied with Jonathan Marchessault
