Uff da! Lefse and other Norwegian treats, and fried turkey to go

-

DAVID Naefke is looking for Norwegian foods such as lefse, and it appears his timing is perfect. Katherine Rankin emailed to say Vegas Viking Lodge of the Sons of Norway will hold its annual Scandinavian holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave., with plenty of lefse.

For Anthony Pappagallo, who’s looking for threepacks of Bridgford frozen bread dough, Patti Gray reported spotting it at Smart & Final at 8485 W. Sahara Ave.

Harris reported finding it at Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen for $44.98. “It will arrive at the Popeye’s you choose frozen,” she emailed. “Heat it in the oven and it will be ready to go.” She also notes that seniors get a discounted price of $43.83. According to popeyes.com, the majority of the company’s two dozen locations in Southern Nevada are carrying the turkeys.
