Former All-pro Robertson dies in limousine accident

Former two-time All-pro linebacker Isiah Robertson was killed when the limousine he was driving skidded on a rain-slicked curve on a dark, rural East Texas highway and was hit by two other vehicles. He was 69.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. Thursday on Texas Route 198 almost 6 miles north of Mabank, the Texas Department of Public Safety reported.

Drafted in the first round by the Los Angeles Rams in 1971 out of Southern University, Robertson played with the Rams through 1978 and spent 1979 to 1982 with Buffalo. He was selected to the Pro Bowl six times.

Titans: Tight end Jonnu Smith (knee) will miss the rest of the season and right tackle Jack Conklin (knee) will miss a few weeks with injuries sustained Thursday, coach Mike Vrabel said.

Ravens: Quarterbac­k Joe Flacco (hip), who has missed Baltimore’s past three games, was a full participan­t in practice but might not play Sunday, coach John Harbaugh said.

Chiefs: Wide receiver Sammy Watkins (foot) suffered a setback Thursday and is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks, the Kansas City Star reported.

Panthers: Free-agent kicker Chandler Catanzaro signed with Carolina, and guard Amini Silatolu

(knee) was placed on injured reserve.

Jets: The NFL suspended linebacker Darron Lee for the rest of the season for violating the league’s policy for substances of abuse.
