Pirates get OF Cabrera with minor league deal
Free-agent outfielder Melky Cabrera signed a minor league contract with Pittsburgh that could be worth up to $2 million for one year if he makes the majors and reaches incentive thresholds.
A 14-year major league veteran with seven teams, Cabrera, 34, is a .286 hitter. He batted .280 in 78 games with Cleveland in 2018.
Diamondbacks: Two relievers, right-hander Michael Kohn, 32, and left-hander Lucas Luetge, 31, signed minor league deals with Arizona.
Dodgers: Left-handed reliever Josh Smoker, 30, and infielder Daniel Castro, 26, signed minor league deals with Los Angeles.
