Marcus Semien hit two-out RBI singles in the 13th for Oakland, which won its seventh straight.

■ RAYS 1, Yankees 0: Michael Perez hit a pinch sacrifice fly in the eighth inning on his 28th birthday, and six Tampa Bay pitchers combined on a two-hit shutout.

■ WHITE SOX 2, Indians 0: Dylan Cease (2-1) shut out Cleveland over five innings despite walking the leadoff man four times and hitting a batter.

■ Orioles 11, NATIONALS 0: Jose Iglesias had four of Baltimore’s 19 hits and drove in three runs, and seven of the Orioles’ nine starting position players had at least two hits.

■ ROYALS 3, Twins 2: Ryan Mcbroom hit a go-ahead home run in the sixth to help Kansas City overcome homers by Byron Buxton and Marwin Gonzalez.

■ Tigers 17, PIRATES 13: Niko Goodrum drove in five runs, two on a double in Detroit’s four-run 11th. Each team had 16 hits after each entered with four starters batting worse than .190.

■ RANGERS 4, Angels 3: Texas scored three runs in the fourth on a bases-loaded walk, a bases-loaded hit-batsman and an errant pickoff attempt.

■ Rockies 8, MARINERS 4: Daniel Murphy hit a two-run single in the sixth and a two-run homer in the eighth for Colorado (10-3).

■ Cubs at CARDINALS, ppd.: The weekend series was postponed because of another positive COVID-19 test with St. Louis.
