■ TWINS 2-3, Tigers 0-2: Jorge Polanco and Josh Donaldson hit consecutiv­e home runs in the first to back Randy Dobnak (6-2), who pitched five shutout innings in the opener. Marwin Gonzalez hit a go-ahead RBI single in the eighth of the second game, capping Minnesota’s sweep.

■ Yankees 6-3, ORIOLES 5-6: Miguel Andujar hit a go-ahead RBI single in the ninth for New York in the opener. Ryan Mountcastl­e went 3-for-3 with a homer and drove in the tying run in Baltimore’s four-run fifth in the second game.

■ Blue Jays 8-2, RED SOX 7-3: Travis Shaw went 3-for-4 with a home run and a double to lift Toronto in the opener. Yairo Munoz had three hits and scored the decisive run to gain Boston a split.

■ Reds 4-3, PIRATES 2-4: Luis Castillo (1-5) held Pittsburgh to two runs and struck out eight over six innings in the opener. Anthony Alford hit a go-ahead two-run triple and scored the go-ahead run to earn the Pirates a split.

■ CUBS 4, Cardinals 1: Willson Contreras went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIS to back Yu Darvish (7-1), who allowed one hit — a home run in the sixth — over seven innings and struck out 11.

■ DODGERS 10, Rockies 6: A.J. Pollock, Joc Pederson and Mookie Betts homered in the Los Angeles eighth after Kevin Pillar hit a go-ahead grand slam in the top of the inning.

■ BRAVES 7-9, Nationals 1-10: Ronald Acuna Jr. homered twice to power Atlanta in the opener. Michael A. Taylor had a two-run double and an RBI single to help Washington gain a split.

■ BREWERS 7, Indians 1: Keston Hiura hit a two-run homer and an RBI double to back Corbin Burnes (2-0), who allowed no earned runs in six innings.

■ Padres 7, ATHLETICS 0: Fernando Tatis Jr. homered and hit a two-run double to back Zach Davies (6-2), who pitched seven shutout innings.

■ MARINERS 6, Rangers 3: J.P. Crawford hit a three-run homer to back Yusei Kikuchi (2-2), who held Texas to one run in six innings.
