■ Rays 3-10, ORIOLES 1-6: Willy Adames, Hunter Renfroe and Joey Wendle homered in the second game as Tampa Bay capped a sweep and clinched a playoff berth. In the opener, UNLV product Dean Kremer held the Rays to one run over five innings and has a 1.69 ERA through three major league starts.

■ WHITE SOX 4, Twins 3: Eloy Jimenez hit a tiebreaking RBI double that capped Chicago’s tworun seventh as the White Sox clinched their first postseason berth since 2008.

■ YANKEES 10, Blue Jays 7: New York tied a major league record with five home runs in an inning, hitting six overall, and set a record for most homers in a three-game span with 19.

■ PIRATES 5, Cardinals 1: Steven Brault (1-3) pitched a two-hitter for his first complete game in 44 major league starts.

■ Mets 10, PHILLIES: Brandon Nimmo hit a tying two-run triple in the sixth and a go-ahead solo home run in the ninth for New York. Bryce Harper homered twice for Philadelphia.

■ Dodgers 9, ROCKIES 3: Mookie Betts had an RBI single and scored on a wild pitch in Los Angeles’ six-run seventh.

■ Red Sox 5, MARLINS 3: Rafael Devers hit a three-run homer and Kevin Plawecki a two-run single to back Nathan Eovaldi (3-2).

■ ASTROS 2, Rangers 1: Kyle Tucker hit a two-run homer in the second to back Framber Valdez (4-3).

■ Indians 10, TIGERS 3: Jose Ramirez went 4-for-5 with two home runs, a double and four RBIS on his 28th birthday.
