Man stabbed in the chest inside The Venetian, 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South, just before 11 p.m. after a fight between at least 30 people. One man was arrested.

6 Large fight breaks out in early-morning hours at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, 3131 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Wynn files suit against yet-to-beidentified combatants.

Las Vegas police fatally shoot Matthew Patton, 37, after police said he brandished a knife and charged officers at approximately 11:10 p.m. Patton was wanted for burglary out of Utah and considered a “violent sexual offender.”

Man arrested after pistol whipping an Uber driver at 3:55 p.m. in the Caesars Palace valet area, 4570 Las Vegas Boulevard South.

SEPT. 19

Man shot multiple times on sidewalk in front of Paris Las Vegas at 2:43 a.m. and survived. Three suspects were arrested in the shooting in the 3600 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South.

SEPT. 22

A gunman opens fire in the valet area of the Aria, 3730 Las Vegas Boulevard South, at

11:08 p.m. One person suffers minor injuries. No arrest has been made.

SEPT. 26

Three people are shot outside the Stage Door Casino, 4000 Linq Lane, just off the Strip, at 3:30 a.m. Three people were arrested. The victims survived.

I SEPT. 27

A man is shot and critically injured on the sidewalk in the 3500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South. Authorities subsequently arrested the suspected gunman in California.

SEPT. 30

One person is hospitalized in a stabbing in the 3600 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South just before 7:30 p.m. The attack stemmed from a conflict that started on a public bus. A suspect was detained.

OCT. 2

A shot is fired on the casino floor of the MGM Grand, 3799 Las

Vegas Boulevard South, at

2:38 a.m.

Police said men were struggling over a gun during an argument when a round went off. Police are searching for two suspects.

OCT. 13

A man is shot during a suspected narcotics transaction in front of the Miracle Mile Shops in the 3400 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South. The victim was shot in the leg and survived.
