Wimbledon plans 2021 return whether fans permitted or not
The Wimbledon tournament, canceled this year for the first time since 1945, plans a
2021 comeback, the All England Club said. It was the lone major tourney canceled this year because of the COVID-19 crisis. Set to be run next year from June 28 to July 11, it could be held at full capacity, reduced capacity or without fans, the club said — with all options dependent on government health guidelines.
