Biden son listed dad, uncle, others as office mates

An email from 2017 reveals that Hunter Biden referred to both his father, Joe Biden, and his Chinese business partner as well as his stepmother and uncle as “office mates” at his former office building in Washington, D.C., and asked for keys to be made for them, according to a new report.

“(P)lease have keys made available for new office mates,” Hunter Biden wrote in the email, dated Sept. 21, 2017.

He then listed the office mates as his father, his stepmother Jill Biden, his uncle Jim Biden and Gongwen Dong, calling him the “emissary” for the chairman of Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC.

He also asked that a sign be made for his office referring to it as “The Biden Foundation” and “Hudson West (CEFC US).”

The email was sent to Cecilia Browning, the general manager of the office building, the House of Sweden. She responded that she was “very excited and honored to welcome your new colleagues!”

She did not dispute the authenticity of the emails when the Daily Caller forwarded them to her for review Friday, but she also declined to comment on them.

Meanwhile, Hunter Biden failed to disclose $400,000 in income on his 2014 tax returns from the Ukrainian natural gas company he sat on the board of, according to a 2017 email from his former business partner, NBC News reported.

“In 2014 you joined the Burisma board and we still need to amend your 2014 returns to reflect the unreported Burisma income,” wrote Eric Schwerin. “That is approximately $400,000 extra so your income in 2014 was closer to $1,247,328.”

Hunter Biden said last week that his taxes are under federal investigation. The U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware opened the probe in late 2018, before his father Joe Biden became a presidential candidate. It includes inquiries into potential violations of money laundering and tax laws.
