Brian John Clayton, 59, passed away on December 12, 2020.

Brian was born on December 28, 1960 to Donald and Maria Clayton. He was the proud Class President for Las Vegas High School’s Class of 1978. Brian has maintained many friendships from high school and participated in the LVHS Alumni Reunion Committee for his class. He played soccer at UNLV and continued to play recreationally throughout his life.

Brian shared a true gift of connecting with people during his 25 years working at the California Hotel & Casino which was followed by his 10 years working at The Mirage. Brian owned a 7-Eleven and loved getting to know the community which his convenience store served.

For nearly 20 years, he volunteered as an assistant coach for the Silverado

High School girls soccer team. Our most favorite memories of Brian always surround his passion for bringing people together – he treasured family gatherings of any sort, his annual luau party and Jimmy Buffett concerts. He loved the beach (especially the Bahamas), black coffee, European soccer and any crazy adventure which came his way.

So that his life and legacy can be captured and shared with his young grandchildren, we would love to hear from you and receive photos and memories which you have of Brian via email to Memoriesofbrianclayton@gmail.com. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Services will be private.
