Embiid, 76ers down Celtics
PHILADELPHIA — Joel Embiid had 38 points and 11 rebounds, making 14 of 15 free throws, as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Boston Celtics 122-110 on Friday.
Jaylen Brown had 42 points and nine rebounds and Marcus Smart 20 points for Boston.
Tobias Harris had 23 points and Ben Simmons 15 points and 11 assists for Philadelphia, which held a 42-28 scoring edge in the third quarter in its highest-scoring quarter in almost three years.
