Embiid, 76ers down Celtics

PHILADELPH­IA — Joel Embiid had 38 points and 11 rebounds, making 14 of 15 free throws, as the Philadelph­ia 76ers beat the Boston Celtics 122-110 on Friday.

Jaylen Brown had 42 points and nine rebounds and Marcus Smart 20 points for Boston.

Tobias Harris had 23 points and Ben Simmons 15 points and 11 assists for Philadelph­ia, which held a 42-28 scoring edge in the third quarter in its highest-scoring quarter in almost three years.

■ Clippers 120, Thunder 106: At Los Angeles, Kawhi Leonard scored 31 points and Paul George 29 for Los Angeles (12-4), which won its sixth straight.

At Indianapol­is, Malcolm Brogdon hit the decisive 3-pointer with 2.8 seconds left in overtime and totaled 23 points, leading three Indiana 20-point scorers.
