No. 6 UCLA women hold off Stanford

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — Charisma Osborne had 24 points, eight rebounds and three steals as No. 6 UCLA handed No. 5 Stanford its second straight loss, 70-66 on Friday at Kaiser Permanente Arena.

Michaela Onyenwere added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Bruins (9-2, 7-2 Pac-12). Natalie Chou had 12 points and Emily Bessoir 11.

Stanford (11-2, 8-2) was ranked No. 1 Sunday when it lost 77-72 in overtime at Colorado.

■ No. 10 Arizona 66, Utah 54: At Tucson, Ariz., Aari Mcdonald scored 20 points, her 79th straight game in double figures, for the Wildcats (11-2, 9-2 Pac-12), who turned 29 turnovers by the Utes (3-9, 2-9) into 21 points.

■ No. 7 Michigan 70, Purdue 53:

At West Lafayette, Ind., Isaiah Livers scored 22 points for the Wolverines (13-1, 8-1 Big Ten), who never trailed and held the Boilermake­rs (11-6, 5-4) to 32.1-percent shooting.

61: At Colorado Springs, Colo., Jordan Schakel had 18 points to lead five double-figure scorers for the Aztecs (10-4, 4-3), who shot 54.5 percent, forced 27 turnovers and held a 38-17 edge in rebounds. The Falcons (4-9, 2-7), who shot 55.0 percent, trailed 52-16 at halftime.

■ Wyoming 71, UNR 64: At Laramie, Wyo., Kenny Foster and Kwane Marble II each had 15 points for the Cowboys (9-5, 3-4), who led 33-21 at halftime. Grant Sherfield, who had scored at least 20 points in four straight games for the Wolf Pack (10-6, 5-4), had eight.
