Patriots agree to deal with Henry NFL

The New England Patriots are signing former Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry to a three-year, $37.5 million contract that includes $25 million guaranteed, according to reports.
Henry, 26, had a career high 60 receptions for four touchdowns and 613 yards last season.
The signing favors Patriots coach Bill Belichick’s twotight-end offensive scheme after the team signed tight end Jonnu Smith on Monday.
Henry played last season with the Chargers under the franchise tender at $10.6 million.
Also, the Pats agreed to terms on a three-year, $22.5 million contract with free agent receiver Kendrick Bourne.
■ Broncos: Denver exercised star linebacker Von Miller’s 2021 option. The move engages the final season of the six-year, $114.5 million contract Miller signed in 2016.
It also guarantees him $7 million of his $17.5 million base salary.
■ Bears: Chicago agreed to a one-year, $10 million contract with former Pro Bowl quarterback Andy Dalton.
■ Bills: Buffalo agreed to sign free-agent punter Matt Haack to a three-year contract on Tuesday. Also, the team agreed to a one-year deal with wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.
■ Browns: Cleveland agreed to sign free agent defensive end Takkarist Mckinley to a one-year, $4 million contract.
■ Cardinals: Arizona brought back starting right tackle Kelvin Beachum on a two-year deal. The team did not disclose terms.
■ Chiefs: Kansas City announced it released running back Damien Williams, one of the stars of their Super Bowl LIV win, on Tuesday.
■ Cowboys: Cornerback
C.J. Goodwin agreed on a $3.5 million, two-year contract with Dallas, agent Drew Rosenhaus said. Also, Ty Nsekhe accepted a one-year contract, according to his agency, Elite Loyalty Sports.
■ Dolphins: Quarterback Jacoby Brissett agreed Tuesday to a one-year contract with the Miami. Brissett will be the backup to Tua Tagovailoa.
■ Jaguars: Former Pro Bowl cornerback Shaquill Griffin and Jacksonville agreed Tuesday on a threeyear, $44.5 million deal that includes $29 million guaranteed.
■ Packers: Veteran cornerback Tramon Williams announced via social media on his 38th birthday that he’s retiring from football.
■ Ravens: Baltimore agreed to a four-year, $22 million contract with linebacker Tyus Bowser and a three-year, $12 million deal with defensive lineman Derek Wolfe.
■ Saints: New Orleans agreed to sign quarterback Jameis Winston to a one-year contract. The move comes on the heels of Drew Brees’ decision to retire and provides Winston a chance to compete with Taysom Hill to be the next starter.
■ Steelers: Pittsburgh cut inside linebacker Vince Williams on Tuesday, a move that will save them $4 million against the salary cup. Pittsburgh also re-signed cornerback Cam Sutton to a twoyear deal worth $9 million and brought back offensive tackle Zach Banner.
■ Titans: Tennessee announced Tuesday they have informed both cornerback Adoree Jackson and right tackle Dennis Kelly they are being released.
■ Vikings: Minnesota released defensive tackle Shamar Stephen on Tuesday.
■ Washington: Veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick agreed to sign with the Washington Football Team.
