Reserves lead Clippers’ comeback over Hawks

LOS ANGELES — Kawhi Leonard scored 25 points and Terance Mann added a season-high 21 as the Los Angeles Clippers rallied from a 22-point deficit in the second half to snap the Atlanta Hawks’ eight-game winning streak with a 119-110 victory Monday night.

Luke Kennard made all eight of his shots and scored all of his season-high 20 points in the second half for the Clippers, who fell behind 88-66 in the third quarter shortly after a frustrated coach Ty Lue put in a lineup of five reserves. With Mann and Kennard leading the comeback, Los Angeles ended the game on a 53-22 run.

Trae Young had 28 points and eight assists and John Collins scored 23 points in the Hawks’ first loss of March and their first under new coach Nate Mcmillan. Atlanta’s winning streak was its longest since January 2015.

The Clippers again played without two starters. Patrick Beverley has missed five straight games with right knee soreness, and Serge Ibaka has missed the last four games due to lower back tightness.

■ Rockets 117, Raptors 99: At Houston, John Wall had 19 points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds, his first triple-double since Feb. 5, 2016. Houston ended its 20-game losing streak as it handed Toronto its ninth straight loss, which now represents the NBA’S longest active losing streak.

■ Hornets 100, Spurs 97: At San Antonio, Gordon Hayward scored 27 points and Terry Rozier added 24 for Charlotte. Demar Derozan had 28 points to lead San Antonio.

■ Thunder 112, Timberwolv­es 103: At Minneapoli­s, Shai Gilgeous-alexander scored 31 points on 4-for-6 from 3-point range. Karl-anthony Towns led Minnesota with 33 points and 10 rebounds.

■ Kings 119, Cavaliers 105: At Cleveland, De’aaron Fox scored 30 points and Tyrese Haliburton added a career-high 28 for Sacramento. Javale Mcgee paced Cleveland with 18 points and nine rebounds.

■ Jazz 120, Bulls 95: At Chicago, Donovan Mitchell scored 30 points and Rudy Gobert added 21 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high nine blocks for Utah. Zach Lavine led Chicago with 27 points, though he made just 10 of 25 shots.

■ Grizzlies 132, Celtics 126 OT:

At Memphis, Tennessee, Ja Morant had 29 points and nine assists for Memphis. Findlay Prep alumni Dillon Brooks added 24 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

■ Bucks 140, Pacers 113: At Milwaukee, Jrue Holiday had 28 points and 14 assists, and Milwaukee overcame the absence of Giannis Antetokoum­po, who sat out with a sprained left knee. Pat Connaughto­n made his first start this season and collected 20 points and nine rebounds.
