Sixers keep Lakers reeling

LOS ANGELES — Danny Green hit eight 3-pointers and totaled 28

points against his former team, and the Philadelph­ia 76ers weathered Los Angeles’ late rally for their fourth straight victory, 109-101 over the slumping Lakers on Thursday.

Seth Curry scored 19 points and Tobias Harris 17 for the Eastern Conference-leading Sixers, who have won 10 of 11 overall and seven of eight without injured All-star Joel Embiid.

Green hit six 3-pointers in the first 2½ quarters and added a game-clincher with 30.4 seconds left in the type of shooting performanc­e he rarely achieved in his sole Lakers season. He started 68 regular-season games and all 21 playoff games for Los Angeles but averaged only 8.0 points.

Kyle Kuzma scored 25 points and Montrezl Harrell 20 for the Lakers.

■ Trail Blazers 125, Heat 122: At Miami, Damian Lillard made three free throws with one second left and totaled 22 points for Portland, which dealt Miami its fifth straight loss. C.J. Mccollum scored 21 of his 35 points in the first quarter for the Blazers.

■ Clippers 98, Spurs 85: At San Antonio, Reggie Jackson scored 28 points for Los Angeles, which held San Antonio to 30 second-half points while winning its fourth straight and handing the Spurs their fourth loss in a row.

■ Kings 141, Warriors 119: At Sacramento, Calif., De’aaron Fox scored a career-high 44 points on 16-for-22 shooting and had seven assists for Sacramento, which won for the fifth time in six games.

■ Knicks 106, Wizards 102: At New York, Alec Burks scored 15 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter for New York, which trailed by 17 in the third.
