VIOLET PAULINE STUCKERT

-

Violet Pauline Stuckert passed away surrounded by family in her home June 3, 2021. Born prematurely July 30, 1930, with her twin sister Lily, in Middletown, CT, to loving parents who carried them home in shoe boxes. Their parents’ deep faith and trust in God set the path for Violet to live a good and full life. As an adult, Violet embarked on an adventure to go west and landed in Albuquerque, NM, where she joined Immanuel Lutheran Church. This is where she met Henry Stuckert, the love of her life of nearly 65 years. They were blessed with a daughter and son, to which she provided loving guidance and care. In 1969 the family moved to Las Vegas. One final move brought her to Boulder City, a year ago, to be close to her twin sister. She loved her family unconditionally and was bestowed in life with two soul mates, her husband and twin sister whom she adored. True to her nature she remained active in Christian fellowship and ministries. Through these faith connections she was honored with decades-long friendships. Violet was happiest when nurturing and entertaining relationships that she so deeply treasured. She found great pleasure in gift giving and excelled at even the most complicated of craft projects. She was quite the entertainer, baker, cook and that fudge - just the greatest. Taking pictures, sewing, knitting and candle

making, she was a true and loving homemaker and friend. Violet’s other passions were shopping all day and winning at Bunco and Rummikub. She loved to travel and experienced points as far reaching as Hong Kong. But her happy place was Kauai where she accompanied her husband on numerous month-long business trips. As the curtain draws to a

close on her human life, rest assured Violet did not linger nor let her physical challenges be a hindrance in living a joyful and complete life. She leaves with all of us her vision of life that the power of prayer and good deeds should never be underestimated. Her faith never wavered, and now she rests peacefully in the arms of our Lord. Her kindness in deeds and her unique spirit has enriched our family and the lives of so many.

Violet is survived by loving husband Henry Allen Stuckert, beloved twin sister Lily Keller, daughter Nancy Stuckert, son Henry M Stuckert (Paula Murray), Grandsons Adam Stuckert (Molly Albecker) and Ian Stuckert, Great Grandson Isaac Stuckert, four generations of beloved nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by parents Michael and Pauline (Krenz) Manke, brother Martin H Manke and sister-in-law Anna (Oktavec) Manke. A Celebration of Life will be at 2

p.m., Sun., July 18, at Faith Community Lutheran Church, 3505 S Town Center

Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89135. Her final resting place will be at the Veterans Memorial Park in Boulder City. Anyone wishing to honor her life with a memorial donation can do so in her name to the Faith Community Lutheran Church Building Fund.
