Frank Brian Ostler, 72, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on Thurs., September 30, 2021 at his daughter’s home in New City, NY after a long battle with cancer. Frank was born on May 24, 1949 in Ogden, Utah. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in Ogden, and worked in Nevada as a Computer Scientist and Programmer at Nellis Air Force Base, EG&G Special Projects, JT3 and JT4 on projects with the U.S. Defense Dept. He resided in Las Vegas, NV for 42 years and is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jessie Ostler of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Tasha Ostler of New City, NY; son, Tony Ostler of Massapequa, NY; and 5 grandchild­ren, Jackson, Madison & Sienna Maione, and Madeline & Vincent Ostler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank William & Pauline Beth Ostler. He is also survived by his 5 siblings, Roger Ostler, Jean Canavan, Kent Ostler, Lynn Ostler & Jim Ostler. He was a dedicated, devoted and loving husband, father, brother & grandfathe­r, and was an eternal optimist who firmly believed in helping his family & country. His incredible smile lit up every room, and he left an indelible impression on all who were lucky enough to meet him. He was truly a “good guy” in every respect. He will be deeply missed. His memorial service will be held at Palms Mortuary Southwest location in Las Vegas, NV on October 22nd at 2:00pm. All friends and co-workers are welcome to attend, and the family encourages all who knew him to please reach out.
