Derozan, Bulls top Celtics for 6-1 start

BOSTON — Demar Derozan scored 37 points as the Chicago Bulls rallied from a 19-point, second-half deficit Monday night to beat the Boston Celtics 128-114 and improve to 6-1.

Zach Lavine scored 26 points and Nikola Vucevic had 11 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists for the Bulls, who outscored Boston 39-11 in the fourth quarter to turn a 14-point deficit into a 14-point victory.

“It was very gratifying to see we kept the fight,” Derozan said. “We were down big on the road, tough place to play, we didn’t get rattled.”

Hawks 118, Wizards 111: At Atlanta, Trae Young scored 26 points and Clint Capela added 16 points and 12 rebounds to end Washington’s three game win streak.

Raptors 113, Knicks 104: At New York, OG Anunoby scored a career-high 36 points as Toronto won its fourth straight game. Gary Trent Jr. added 26 points and Fred Vanvleet finished with 17 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

76ers 113, Trail Blazers 103: At Philadelph­ia, Seth Curry stepped up in Joel Embiid’s absence on Monday, scoring 23 points — including several key buckets late. Embiid, the team’s leading scorer and four-time Allstar, was out due to rest — his first missed game of the season.

Grizzlies 106, Nuggets 97:

At Memphis, Tenn., Ja Morant had 26 points, eight assists and seven rebounds as Memphis snapped a three-game losing streak Denver.

Magic 115, Timberwolv­es 97: At Minneapoli­s, Cole Anthony scored a season-high 31 points and Wendell Carter Jr. chipped in 15 points and 14 rebounds as Orlando came back from 11 down.

Cavaliers 113, Hornets 110: At Charlotte, N.C., Jarrett Allen had 24 points and 16 rebounds as Cleveland held off a frantic fourth-quarter rally by the Charlotte. Evan Mobley added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Pacers 131, Spurs 118: At Indianapol­is, Domantas Sabonis had 24 points and 13 rebounds and Myles Turner added 19 points to snap a four-game skid.

Clippers 99, Thunder 94: At Los Angeles, Paul George had 32 points, nine rebounds and seven assists and Los Angeles used a 17-3 run to finish the game.
