Randle, Knicks overcome 21-point hole, beat Bucks

MILWAUKEE — Julius Randle had 32 points and 12 rebounds for the New York Knicks, who erased an early 21-point deficit and beat the Milwaukee Bucks 11398 on Friday.

Reserve Derrick Rose scored 23 points and R.J. Barrett 20 as the Knicks stunned the reigning NBA champions on their home court. Giannis Antetokoun­mpo scored 25 points for Milwaukee, and Grayson Allen had a season-high 22.

The Bucks hit four 3-pointers out of the gate and made eight long-range shots overall to take a 38-17 lead after one quarter. Allen had 14 points and four rebounds in the opening period to pace the Bucks, who shot 50 percent from deep.

■ Cavaliers 102, Raptors 101: At Toronto, Darius Garland hit two free throws with 4.8 seconds left and totaled 21 points for Cleveland, which had lost six straight at Toronto. The Raptors, who led 80-74 entering the fourth quarter, had won five in a row.

■ Clippers 104, Timberwolv­es 84: At Minneapoli­s, Paul George had 21 points and 11 rebounds for Los Angeles, which overcame a 20-point second-quarter deficit. Minnesota shot 35.2 percent and had 22 turnovers.

■ Nets 96, Pistons 90: At Detroit, James Harden had 15 points, 10 assists, 10 rebounds and nine turnovers for Brooklyn, becoming the fifth NBA player with a triple-double and no 2-point baskets.

■ Trail Blazers 110, Pacers 106: At Portland, Ore., C.J. Mccollum hit five 3-pointers and totaled 27 points for Portland, which overcame a 16-point firsthalf deficit and halted a three-game skid.

■ Warriors 126, Pelicans 85: At San Francisco, Jordan Poole scored 26 points for Golden State (7-1), which is off to its best start since 2018-19. New Orleans (19) trailed 54-50 at halftime.

■ Kings 140, Hornets 110: At Sacramento, Calif., Richaun Holmes had 23 points and 20 rebounds for Sacramento, which hit 22 3-pointers and dealt

Charlotte its third straight loss.

■ Spurs 102, Magic 89: At Orlando, Fla., Dejounte Murray had 20 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for San Antonio, which forced 18 turnovers — nine in the fourth quarter.

■ Wizards 115, Grizzlies 87: At Washington, Bradley Beal had 17 points to lead seven double-figure scorers for Washington, which held Memphis to 35 percent shooting.
