MARY MCINTOSH

-

Mary Frances (Doyle) Mcintosh passed away Friday October

22, 2021 at the age of 84. Mary is survived by her husband; Mark Mcintosh, and children; Sheila Mckenna, Scott Mcintosh, and Steven Mcintosh, and grandchildren; Katelynn Hamer, Kristin Keane, Ryan Keane, and Savanna Mcintosh, as well as

a large extended family. She also recently learned that she was going to be a great-grandmother. She has two brothers; Chris and Dennis, and a sister;

Dolores. Mary is predeceased by her father, Christopher Doyle, her mother, Mary Hayes, and her siblings; Kathleen, Ruth, Rosie, and Eric. Mary was born on June 25, 1937, in Limerick, Ireland to Christopher Doyle and Mary Hayes. At the age of 19, she boarded a ship and came to America. Mary landed in Boston where she would stay with her sister, Ruth. However, Mary had an adventuresome spirit, so she loaded up her 53’ Cheverolet and headed west. Through

her travels, she would find true love with Mark in Black Foot, Idaho. They would eventually move to Las Vegas to raise their family. Mary found work at the Dunes hotel in the personnel department, where she would find a best friend name Carol Cook. Carol persuaded her to try real estate, where she found her true passion. Mary became well known and respected in the industry as she

was elected governor, local president, and state president of the Las Vegas

Women’s counsel. In addition, she was chosen as the President of the Las Vegas Realtors, and President of the Nevada

Realtors Association. Mary spent many years doing what she loved before she finally retired in 2008. She found some new loves. She spent many mornings on the green swinging her golf clubs, and she and Mark would fly south for the winter to their lovely condo in Mazatlán. Here she would bring her love for Mahjong and share it with all who would join her. Mary was the best wife, mother, and grandmother anyone could have ever asked for. She had the best laugh and gave the best hugs. She was selfless and one of a kind. Her smile and stories will be missed, but most of all, we will miss her and the special love that she had for each one of us. Visitation/funeral services will be held at the Palm Mortuary on Cheyenne between 12pm-2pm on Nov 12, 2021.
