With sadness in our hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Mother and Nana. Mercedes A. Doblado, 99, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Mercedes was born August 24, 1922, the daughter of Jesús and Amparo Alvidres in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Her life centered on her family, Catholic faith and friends. She was known for her joy of life, steadfastn­ess in her love for her children, grandchild­ren and great-great children, an amazing sense of humor and for always being the epitome of grace and style. We will miss you but know in our hearts you are wrapped in the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Angels and Saints and all the loved ones you have missed dearly these past years. She is survived by her seven children; Hector (Valerit) Doblado of East Patchogue, New York; Marcela (Steve)custer of Henderson, NV; Rebeca M. Doblado of Henderson, NV; Noemi (Jim) Cerrone of Henderson, NV; Fernando (Cynde) Doblado of Henderson, NV; Armando (Mary)

Doblado of Las Vegas, NV and Mercedes (Carl) Hanson of West Fargo, ND; 13 grandchild­ren and 3 great-great children. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Hector E. Doblado, her parents, brother Alejandro, sister Maria Dolores and granddaugh­ter, Rebeca Mercedes Mcpherson. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 1:00pm at St. Viator’s Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89121, followed by internment at Davis Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
