JENNY LOU JARAMILLO 1933-2021

-

Jenny Lou Jaramillo, forever in our hearts, passed peacefully November 4, 2021 in Los Angeles, at the age of 88. Jenny Lou Jaramillo was born and raised in Texarkana, TX, the daughter of Margaret and Lee Mcaferty. She attended High School in Las Vegas where she met the love of her life, George

Jaramillo. The two high school sweethearts were married in 1952. Shortly thereafter, she joined George in Germany while he served his country in the US Army (1952-1954). Upon their return they started a family. George and Jenny were married for 65 years until his passing in 2017. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her four children: Tina, Kimberly, Gregory and Paul. She actively lived her Catholic faith and shared that faith with her children. Jenny volunteered at her parish, St. Viator Catholic Church, and in the community. She always said the greatest joy and gifts in her life were her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. In her spare time, she pursued interests as varied as golf, dance, gardening and travel. Jenny was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Her grace, charm, dignity, wit, endearing winks and beautiful heart captivated everyone who knew her. Our beloved mother Jenny and late father George built an amazing family legacy that lives on in their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren today. Jenny is survived by Tina and John Farina, Kimberly and PK Shah, Gregory and Evgenia Jaramillo, Paul and Colleen Jaramillo; nine grandchildren: Christopher, James, Kishore, Tyler,

Nisha, Kevin, Evgeny, David, Ekaterina; and three great-grandchildren: George, Eliana and Nile. Jenny, (Grammie) will be greatly missed. We believe, with all our hearts, that she is now holding the hand of her beloved George. Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Sat., Nov. 20, at St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas.
