Walter Otto Scheller (Hans) passed away on November 20th, 2021 at Nathan Adelson Hospice at 9:23pm, with his granddaugh­ter Robyn by his side. He was 85 years old and lived in Las Vegas. Walter was born February 14th, 1936 in Burgdorf, Germany to his parents Walter and Gertrude Scheller. He came to America at age 18 and joined the U.S. Navy. He moved to Las Vegas in the 60's and worked as a craps dealer in the major casinos of his day. In the 70's, he met and married Bonnie Jean Roundtree.

They each had 2 kids from previous marriages and so they created a new family and enjoyed life together for 45 years. They loved to travel together in camper vans across the U.S. They also traveled the world together to over 50 countries on 6 continents. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends, hunting, and walking his dog. Walter was preceded in death by his sister Annaliese, daughter Romy, grandson Joey, two great grandchild­ren Joey and Jalynn, and his wife Bonnie. He is survived by his daughter Robin, son Randy, two step sons Neil and Joey, his granddaugh­ter Robyn, who he raised as his own daughter and held a special place in his heart, his 13 grandchild­ren, 19 great grandchild­ren and his best dog pal Eli! His family lovingly called him Papa. Two days prior to his death, he trusted in Jesus as his Savior. Services will be held on February 4th at 10am at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where his remains will be buried with Bonnie.

A memorial service will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on 2022-02-04 at Veterans Memorial Cemetary, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV, USA.
