QB Murray returns, nets four TDS in Arizona’s win
Kyler Murray threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more in his return from an ankle injury as Arizona beat host Chicago 33-22.
The Cardinals (102) got back Murray and three-time All-pro receiver Deandre Hopkins after both missed three games because of injuries. Murray was 11 of 15 passing for 123 yards, and Hopkins had two catches for 32 yards and a TD. James Conner had 75 yards rushing, 36 receiving and a TD for Arizona, which moved to 7-0 in the road, with each win by 10 points or more.
Andy Dalton was 26 of 41 passing for 229 yards with two TDS and four interceptions for the Bears (4-8), with two of the interceptions deflecting off their intended targets.
Lions 29, Vikings 27: At Detroit, Jared Goff threw an 11-yard TD pass to rookie wide receiver Amon-ra St. Brown as time expired for Detroit (1-10-1), which covered 75 yards on its final drive in 1:50 with no timeouts. Goff threw for 296 yards and three TDS while giving the Lions their first 14-point lead of the season.
They had lost 15 straight games. Kirk Cousins threw for 340 yards and a TD for Minnesota (5-7), and wide receiver Justin Jefferson had 11 catches for 182 yards.
Seahawks 30, 49ers 23: At Seattle, Russell Wilson threw for 231 yards and two TDS for Seattle (4-8), which made a late goal-line stand to snap a three-game skid. Defensive end Carlos Dunlap knocked down Jimmy Garoppolo’s fourth-down pass on the final drive by San Francisco (66) and also sacked Garoppolo for a thirdquarter safety. Garoppolo threw for 299 yards with two TDS and two interceptions. 49ers tight end George Kittle had nine catches for 181 yards and two TDS.
Buccaneers 30, Falcons 17: At Atlanta, Tom Brady threw for 368 yards and four TDS for Tampa Bay (9-3) while improving to 10-0 against Atlanta (5-7). Tight end Rob Gronkowski had two TD catches for the Bucs, who passed the ball on their first 13 plays. The Falcons trailed 20-17 at halftime after defensive end Marlon Davidson intercepted Brady and scored on a 3-yard return in the second quarter’s final minute.
