QB Garoppolo has right shoulder, thumb injuries

San Francisco 49ers quarterbac­k Jimmy Garoppolo is dealing with injuries to his right thumb and right shoulder as he prepares for Saturday’s divisional­round playoff game at Green Bay.

Garoppolo was limited at practice Tuesday for the 49ers.

■ Seahawks: Seattle fired defensive coordinato­r Ken Norton Jr. and passing game coordinato­r Andre Curtis, the team said Tuesday.

■ Vikings: Minnesota added Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinato­r Raheem Morris to its candidate list for head coach. The 45-year-old Morris was Tampa Bay’s head coach for three seasons, compiling a 17-31 record from 2009-11. This is his 19th year coaching in the NFL.

■ Cowboys: Dak Prescott apologized Tuesday night for his comments that condoned Dallas Cowboys fans throwing objects at NFL officials after the team’s playoff loss, with the quarterbac­k saying in a series of tweets that he deeply regretted what he said after the game.

■ Browns: Defensive tackle Malik Mcdowell, who was given a second chance by the team after serving jail time, was arrested Monday in Florida on charges that include public exposure. Bail was posted at $25,000.

■ Panthers: Carolina expanded its offensive coordinato­r search to include former Washington coach Jay Gruden and three others, according to a person familiar with the situation. Along with Gruden, former New York Giants coach and current Dallas Cowboys consultant Ben Mcadoo, Green Bay Packers quarterbac­ks coach and passing game coordinato­r Luke Getsy, and former Houston Texans offensive coordinato­r Tim Kelly have interviewe­d for the position.

■ Jaguars: Defensive end Lerentee Mccray was arrested early Sunday, booked in the Lake County Jail and charged with fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcemen­t, according to jail and police records. The charge is a second-degree felony.
