Nuggets beat Blazers; home win streak at 14

Nikola Jokic had 36 points as part of his 13th triple-double of the season to offset a 44-point performanc­e from Damian Lillard, and the Denver Nuggets won their 14th straight game at Ball Arena by topping the Portland Trail Blazers 122-113.

Jokic also had 12 rebounds and 10 assists as the Nuggets improved to 13-0 this season when the two-time reigning NBA MVP records a tripledoub­le.

The Nuggets were without coach Michael Malone, who missed the game after entering the league’s health and safety protocols. Acting coach David Adelman stepped in and the Western Conference-leading Nuggets didn’t miss a beat.

■ Spurs 106, Nets 98: At San Antonio, Keldon Johnson had a careerhigh 34 points and 10 rebounds for San Antonio, which snapped a five-game skid. Brooklyn was without the injured Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving and dropped its third straight game.

■ Bucks 130, Raptors 122: At Milwaukee, Jrue Holiday scored a season-high 37 points for Milwaukee, which was playing without Giannis Antetokoun­mpo for a fourth consecutiv­e game. Fred Van Vleet led Toronto with 39 points.

■ 76ers 120, Clippers 110: At Los Angeles, Joel Embiid had 41 points and nine rebounds for Philadelph­ia, which has won three in a row. Embiid has never lost a game at Crypto.com Arena.

G LEAGUE

■ Mad Ants 121, Ignite 114: At Dollar Loan Center, John Jenkins scored 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting in the loss to Fort Wayne, which was led by Gabe York’s 38 points. Scoot Henderson scored 22 for the Ignite, who shot 50 percent from the field.

The Ignite lost their third straight game.
