NHL Boldy has hat trick as Wild defeat Kraken

Matt Boldy had his second hat trick in the last five games, former Golden Knights goalie Marc-andre Fleury made 35 saves, and the surging Minnesota Wild beat the visiting Seattle Kraken 5-1.

Jake Middleton and Ryan Hartman also had goals, and Jared Spurgeon, Marcus Johansson and Joel Eriksson Ek each had two assists for the Wild. Boldy has 11 goals in nine games.

Jaden Schwartz ended Fleury’s shutout bid with 9 minutes left, scoring on a bouncing rebound that banked in off the goalie and into the net.

■ Oilers 5, Coyotes 4: At Tempe, Arizona, Leon Daraisaitl scored his 300th goal as Edmonton handed Arizona its first regulation home loss in nine games.

■ Senators 5, Panthers 2: At Ottawa, Ontario, Brady Tkachuk had a goal and an assist as Mads Sogaard stopped 32 shots.

■ Islanders 5, Devils 1: At New York, Kyle Palmieri had two goals and an assist to back Ilya Sorokin, who made 30 saves.

NBA Embiid sits out; Jokic, Nuggets down 76ers

Nikola Jokic led the Denver Nuggets to a 116-111 victory over the Philadelph­ia 76ers on Monday night as the Sixers were without big man Joel Embiid, who sat out with a sore right calf.
