DAVID SCOTT HEISE
David Scott Heise, 54, passed away peacefully on July 29th, 2023, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. David was born October
24th, 1968, in East Chicago, IN. He was adopted at 2 1/2 weeks by John and Sylvia Heise, in Elkhart, IN. The family moved to Milwaukee, to Wisconsin in 1972, to Overland Park, KS in 1975, and then to Las Vegas in 1976. David graduated from Clark High school in 1986 and earned a B.A from UNR in 1990 majoring in Business Administration and Political Economy. He was an excellent student and a talented musician. He won honors playing piano and excelled on the oboe and tenor sax. In 1992 he moved to Seattle, eventually settling in Burien, a suburb. He worked in Banking and Credit Union Administration. He was with Evergreen Bank for 12 years and was part of the Credit Union industry for 25 years, specifically the School Employees Credit Union of Washington. He was well known for his intellectual prowess, and his problem-solving expertise. His Colleagues will remember David’s wacky sense of humor (Le. hiding a realistic plastic back rat in unexpected places, and hiding under his desk when he saw a person with persistent problems approaching his office), his problem-solving expertise and his kindness. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. Wilson and Marian Parks, and Juanelia Cox, his beloved dog Spencer and his dear friend Ramona Hull. He is survived by his parents John Heise, (Mary Ellen), Sylvia Hardin; his sister Susan Ramsay,
(Aaron). Nephew William Ramsay, nieces Lauren Ramsay and Sarah Ramsay, and his special friends Kenna Heginbottom, (Eric and sons Theron and Doran); Brad Whelan and Lupe Solis, and of course
Daisy Mae, his frisky maltipoo. Family and friends will gather on August 17th at 1:00 p.m. at University United Methodist Church to honor David’s life. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the United Way in his name. He volunteered as an Irs-certified Federal Income tax Professional, helping people with income tax filing. The theme of David’s special service will be music and Stripes. If you have something striped, wear it! Or bright colors-no all black, please. This is a celebration of the welllived life of a wonderful, fun loving man.
