Kansas, K-state enter poll; Oklahoma drops to No. 10

Oklahoma fell four spots to No. 10 after losing Kansas, the top five teams held their places, and the Jayhawks and rival Kansas State entered The Associated Press college football poll. Georgia is No. 1 for a 20th straight week, receiving 48 of 63 first-place votes. Kansas entered at No. 22 after one of the biggest wins in program history, and Kansas State moved in at No. 25. Air Force moved up two spots to No. 17, its best ranking since finishing 13th in 1998.

■ UNR: Brandon Talton kicked field goals of 34, 47, 52 and 22 yards to help the host Wolf Pack top New Mexico 3424 late Saturday. Safety Richard Toney

Jr. returned an intercepti­on 44 yards for a TD for UNR (1-6, 1-2 Mountain West), which notched a second straight win after losing 16 in a row. Dylan Hopkins threw for 271 yards and a TD with three intercepti­ons for the Lobos (3-4, 1-2).

■ Arizona: Noah Fifita threw for 275 yards and three TDS, including two to running back Michael Wiley in the fourth quarter, to lead the host Wildcats past then-no. 11 Oregon State 27-24 late Saturday. The Beavers (6-2, 3-2 Pac-12) fell to No. 16 with the loss. Arizona (5-3, 3-2) notched its second straight win over a ranked foe after having routed then-no. 19 Washington 44-6.

■ San Jose State: Kairee Robinson ran for 146 yards and two TDS on 17 carries to help the Spartans rout host Hawaii 35-0 late Saturday. SJSU (4-5, 3-2 Mountain West) notched its first shutout in 10 years while amassing 468 yards of offense and holding the Rainbow Warriors (2-7, 0-4) to 210.
