Wembanyama has 10 blocks, triple-double

TORONTO — Victor Wembanyama had 27 points, 14 rebounds and a career-high 10 blocks in his second triple-double, and Devin Vassell added 25 points as the San Antonio Spurs snapped a seven-game losing streak by routing the Toronto Raptors 122-99 on Monday night. Wembanyama made 10 of 14 attempts in 29 minutes as the Spurs won for the first time since Jan. 27 against Minnesota. His previous career high for blocks was eight, set against Memphis on Nov. 18. He leads the NBA in that category. It was the first triple-double including blocks since Clint Capela had 13 points, 19 rebounds and 10 blocks for Atlanta against Minnesota on Jan. 22, 2021.

At Charlotte, N.C., Miles Bridges had 20 points and 10 rebounds as Charlotte held the NBA’S highestsco­ring team to just 22 points over the final 12 minutes to secure backto-back wins for only the second time this season.

At Houston, Aaron Holiday had 18 points, capped by two free throws with less than a second remaining after a disputed foul by Jalen Brunson behind the 3-point line.

At Memphis, Tenn., Herbert Jones scored 17 points, and Brandon Ingram finished with 16 points to hand Memphis its ninth straight loss.

■ Timberwolv­es 121, Clippers 100: At Los Angeles, Anthony Edwards had 23 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Minnesota, which shot 54 percent from the field.

At Salt Lake City, Stephen Curry had 25 points and 10 assists for Golden State, which had seven players make a 3-pointer in the first quarter. ■ Bucks 112, Nuggets 95: At Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 36 points, 18 rebounds and five assists for Milwaukee, which won its second straight.

■ Bulls 136, Hawks 126: At Atlanta, Ayo Dosunmu had a career-high 29 points and added seven assists for Chicago. Bogdan Bogdanovic added 28 points.

At Cleveland, Buddy Hield scored 24 points in his third game for Philadelph­ia, which snapped Cleveland’s nine-game win streak.

104: At Dallas, Luka Doncic had 26 points, 15 assists and 11 rebounds for his 10th triple-double of the season.

College basketball

■ Texas Tech 79, No. 6 Kansas 50: At Lubbock, Texas, Darrion Williams scored a career-high 30 points on 12-of-12 shooting, including four of the 10 3-pointers made by the Red Raiders (18-6,

7-4 Big 12). The Jayhawks (19-6, 7-5) shot a season-low 32.7 percent from the field.

■ No. 9 Duke 77, Wake Forest 69: At Durham, N.C., Mark Mitchell scored 23 points while star big man Kyle Filipowski posted his first double-double in nearly three weeks for the Blue Devils (19-5, 10-3 Atlantic Coast Conference). Hunter Sallis scored 22 points for the Demon Deacons (16-8, 8-5).
