Oilers coast past Penguins for fourth consecutive win
Zach Hyman had two goals and Leon Draisaitl three assists as host Edmonton won its fourth straight by routing Pittsburgh 6-1 on Sunday.
Ryan Mcleod and Connor Mcdavid each had a goal and an assist to back Calvin Pickard, who stopped 22 shots, as the Oilers improved to 31-8-1 in their past 40 games.
Mcdavid stretched his point streak to 11 games and extended his home point streak to 25 games, a personal best.
Evgeni Malkin scored with 7:37 left to end Pickard’s shutout bid, and
Alex Nedeljkovic had 31 saves for the Penguins, who lost their third in a row.
Hyman, who notched his team-best
41st and 42nd goals of the season, has scored in nine straight home games — with 12 goals in that span.
Draisaitl played in his 697th game with Edmonton, passing Wayne Gretzky for 10th place in franchise history.

Kaprizov scored the tying goal 2:38 into the third period and the winner with 3:59 to go. San Jose blew a 2-0 lead in its seventh straight loss.
