Raptors throttle sliding Bucks to halt 15-game losing streak

Barrett 26 as Toronto halted a 15-game slide by beating host Milwaukee 117-111 on Friday.

The Bucks (47-30), playing without top scorer Giannis Antetokoun­mpo (left hamstring strain), lost for the fifth time in six games — with the past three coming against Washington (15-63), Memphis (27-50) and the Raptors (24-53). Damian Lillard scored 36 points for Milwaukee, which fell to 15-16 since Doc Rivers took over as coach on Jan. 26.

■ Mavericks 108, Warriors 106: At Dallas, Findlay Prep product P.J. Washington hit a tiebreakin­g layup with 4.5 seconds left and totaled 32 points for Dallas, which halted Golden State’s six-game win streak. The Mavs were without top scorer Luka Doncic (sore right knee) but won for the ninth time in 10 games.

■ Spurs 111, Pelicans 109: At New Orleans, Victor Wembanyama scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half and blocked Herb Jones’ potential go-ahead shot with 10 seconds left for San Antonio, which overcame a 10-point intermissi­on deficit and handed New Orleans its fifth straight home loss.

■ Celtics 101, Kings 100: At Boston, Payton Pritchard scored 21 points for Boston, which notched its 13th win in 15 games and 12th in a row at home. De’aaron Fox had 40 points, including a 26-foot 3-pointer with 27 seconds left, for Sacramento, which trailed by 19 in the fourth quarter.

■ Grizzlies 108, Pistons 90: At Memphis, Tenn., Trey Jemison had 17 points and 13 rebounds for Memphis, which had seven doublefigu­re scorers and notched a third straight win for the first time since January. Malachi Flynn, coming off a 50-point outing for Detroit, missed all 12 of his shots.

■ Pacers 126, Thunder 112: At Indianapol­is, Pascal Siakam scored 21 points for Indiana, which shot 52.3 percent and won for the third time in four games. Oklahoma City again was without injured Shai Gilgeous-alexander and Jalen Williams, its top two scorers.

■ Suns 97, Timberwolv­es 87: At Phoenix, Grayson Allen scored 23 points and Kevin Durant 22 for Phoenix, which raced to a 15-0 lead and never trailed in its fourth win in five games. Minnesota, tied with Denver atop the West, had won six of its previous seven.

■ Trail Blazers 108, Wizards 102: At Washington, Deandre Ayton had 34 points and 13 rebounds for Portland, which won its second straight after a 10-game slide. Washington (1563) missed 28 of 33 3-point tries and matched its franchise record for losses.

■ Bulls 108, Knicks 100: At Chicago, Javonte Green had career highs of 25 points and 13 rebounds for Chicago, which has alternated wins and losses for its past six games. Jalen Brunson had 35 points and 11 assists for New York.

■ Hornets 124, Magic 115: At Charlotte, N.C., Brandon Miller hit his first 10 shots and totaled 30 points for Charlotte, which halted its fourgame skid and Orlando’s three-game win streak with its second victory in 11 games.

■ Clippers 131, Jazz 102: At Los Angeles, Terence Mann had 19 points to lead eight double-figure scorers for Los Angeles, which won for the fifth time in six games and dealt Utah its 11th straight loss.

■ Heat 119, Rockets 104: At Houston, Jimmy Butler scored 22 points for Miami, which won for the fourth time in five games and handed Houston its fourth loss in a row.
