Liam & Miley's HIMALAYAN WEDDING

At last! Inside the happy couple’s exotic spiritual ceremony

-

She was grabbing lunch at a chic Malibu bistro, but Miley Cyrus was dressed down in leggings, a black hoodie and sneakers. Joining her at Ollo on Feb. 7 was her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, equally casual in a beanie, worn gray jeans and an oversize sweater.

They looked, in other words, like an old married couple. And for good reason: The duo are finally making it official! Miley, 24, and Liam, 27, have decided to exchange vows in the Himalayan mountains this summer, Life & Style has exclusively learned. Instead of a huge Hollywood extravaganza, the couple — who rekindled their on- off romance in early 2016, after a split of nearly two years — will

hold a small spiritual ceremony on the other side of the world. “Miley has a real hippie side and wants to embrace that rather than spending millions,” an insider reveals. “She wants to focus on the spiritual side of marriage and is very interested in Hinduism, so she is looking at locations in Nepal, where Hinduism is a way of life.”

BLENDING TRADITIONS

Low-key Liam is happy to let his bride call the shots. So the wedding’s shaping up to be a very Miley affair. It’ll take place over several days, the insider says, with multiple events including meditation, yoga, prayers, elephant rides, guitar playing, dancing and sleeping under the stars. “In true Miley style, the wedding will be bright and colorful, with flower petals and brightly colored hearts and circles hanging from the trees,” the insider says. “Being an animal lover, Miley wants to be surrounded by elephants, horses, peacocks and doves on her big day.” And forget filet mignon and caviar: The food will be simple vegan fare (think rice, mushrooms, tofu and vegan pizza).

Not everything will be so untraditional. Family and close friends will attend, and Miley has asked sisters Noah and Brandi to be bridesmaids, while Liam’s brothers, Chris and Luke, will be groomsmen. And in the ultimate fairytale touch, they’ve even

discussed having Liam arrive for the nuptials riding a white horse. That’s a common Hindu wedding tradition, but there’s an- other, more important reason they want to include it. “In Miley’s eyes,” the insider says, “nothing could be more romantic.”
