A-rod surprises J. Lo by popping the question on their Paris getaway.
No wonder Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were all smiles in Paris! The lovebirds headed to the romantic city for a June getaway, and Alex, 41, made sure it would be a trip to remember for Jennifer, 47. “He got down on one knee and asked J. Lo to marry him,” a source exclusively reveals. “J. Lo burst into tears and said yes!” A-rod had originally planned to propose underneath the Eiffel Tower, the source says, but changed his mind because he wanted to keep the engagement a secret. “He ended up proposing to her in the privacy of their presidential suite at the luxurious Le Meurice hotel,” the source says. “It was the perfect romantic setting to pop the question.” J. Lo may not have known the proposal was coming at that precise moment, but she couldn’t have been caught completely off guard: Though they’ve only been dating for four months, “A-rod has been telling J. Lo almost from the start that she’s the one,” notes the source. Despite his reputa- tion as a womanizer, “he believes she is the love of his life.” J. Lo, who also traveled with him to Monaco and St. Tropez on their European vacation, is equally smitten. “She’s crazy about A-rod and loves everything about him,” the source says. And as a bonus, J. Lo’s 9-year-old twins, Max and Emme, have become fast friends with A-rod’s two girls, Ella, 9, and Natasha, 12. “J. Lo can’t wait for them all to be big one big, happy family,” the source says. “This is a real dream come true for her.”
