Billionaire Romance

Rihanna and her new billionaire beau can’t wait to tie the knot. But first, they’re protecting their massive fortunes

-

Rihanna wants to marry Hassan Jameel, but first they have to work out their 10-figure prenup.

Alittle over a month a go, Ri ha nna called her father with some happy news. “She told me she had a new boyfriend,” says the singer’s dad, Ronald Fenty. “But I didn’t know who he was.” Weeks later, when photos emerged of Rihanna cuddling in a hot tub with handsome Saudi Arabian mogul Hassan Jameel, Ronald had a friendly warning for him. “He’s going to have to buckle up,” says Ronald, who hopes to meet Hassan in August when he and Rihanna visit Barbados. “She’s very independent and ambitious. Nobody can tell her what to do.”

Hassan is up for the challenge. The duo have gotten so serious, they’re already talking marriage, Life & Style has exclusively learned. And they’ve started hashing out a complicated prenup worth more than $ 1 billion. “Everything is moving so fast, but right now the priority is working out their individual assets with their attorneys in order to write up an ironclad contract,” says an insider. “Rihanna loves Hassan, but business is business.”

BILLIONS AT STAKE

And they have a lot of business to discuss. Hassan, 29, serves as deputy president and vice chairman of his family’s corporation, Abdul Latif Jameel, one of the largest businesses in the world. “Hassan’s family is worth $1.5 billion, and Rihanna’s no slouch either,” the insider says of the 29-year-old singer and actress, who has a net worth of $230 million. “They’re crazy about each other, but they both know that a prenup is a good idea.” Luckily, they’re on the same page. “Both parties agree that what they bring into the marriage, financially speaking, is what they’ll leave with,” the insider says.

TWO CEREMONIES

As important as the prenup is, the pair are trying not to get too bogged down in the details. They’ve both agreed to keep the contract as simple as possible so they can focus on their main priority: getting hitched. “They agree that they won’t get married in the U.S.,” the insider says. “They want the place where they exchange vows

to be special to who they are and where they come from, which means Barbados for her and Saudi Arabia for him, probably in Riyadh. Having two weddings is a big possibility.”

No expense will be spared. “They obviously aren’t concerned about money,” says the insider. “What they both want is to be in a gorgeous location, surrounded by family and friends. They can’t wait to get married. They’re really perfect for each other.”
