Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are ready for a baby girl — and then marriage.
B lake Shelton sported a huge smile on his face as he watched The Voice contestant Dave Crosby duet with his daughter, Claire, 4, onstage. “I want you on my team, but I would really like to have her,” the country star told Dave on the Sept. 25 episode of the NBC show. “We’ll get you going as an artist, and then we’ll co-manage your daughter!”
Turns out he’ll soon have his own daughter to focus on. Blake and girlfriend Gwen Stefani are having a baby girl, Life & Style has exclusively learned. Heartbreak- ingly, the pair thought the “Hey Baby” singer was pregnant recently, only to find out that she wasn’t expecting. But now the determined stars are ramping up their efforts to conceive via IVF — and using gender selection to ensure they get the little girl they’re both dreaming of. “Gwen successfully underwent the egg retrieval process,” an insider exclusively reveals. “She will go back to have the embryos implanted soon!”
GETTING HER WISH
Gwen is already the proud mom of three boys with ex Gavin Rossdale: Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9, and Apol lo, 3. But back in 2014, when she was pregnant with her youngest, the fashion and beauty mogul admitted she was ready to give up her crown as the only female in the family. “It does seem weird that I don’t have a girl,” Gwen, 48, has mused, adding that her famous wardrobe would “probably go to some girlfriend of Kingston’s!”
