November 6, 2017 After just weeks of dating, Scott Disick pops the question to Sofia Richie in romantic Italy

After just one month of officially dating, Scott Disick, 34, proposes to Sofia Richie, who’s just 19!

Lionel Richie definitely won’t be dancing on the ceiling over this! On Oct. 14, his 19-yearold daughter, model Sofia Richie, jetted from LA to Milan with her boyfriend of barely a month, reality TV bad boy Scott Disick, 34. There, Life & Style has exclusively learned, Lord Disick asked her to be his Lady. “After just a few weeks of dating, Scott and Sofia were already talking marriage,” reveals a shocked source. “During a romantic candlelit dinner in the Italian city, Scott popped the question — and Sofia said yes.”

Now he’s hunting for the perfect ring to make it official. “Scott gets Sofia’s funky style and is on the hunt for the ideal rock,” says the source. “He went ring shopping in Milan, but he hasn’t purchased one yet.”

That’s not slowing them down: The pair, who only declared their relationship official in September, were already talking wedding plans as they continued their tour of Italy with an Oct. 17 trip to Venice. “They both want to tie the knot abroad on a tropical beach, with cocktails and champagne flowing during a casual wedding party,” says the source. “But they want to keep their plans a secret for now. Once they make an official announcement, it’s likely all hell will break loose!”

It sure will. Family members on both sides are horrified by their relationship. Scott’s ex Kourtney Kardashian, 38, has moved on with a younger partner herself (see box, below) “but Sofia has been a Kardashian family friend for years, so Kourtney feels betrayed by her,” explains the source. “And Kourtney thinks she’s too young to be dating Scott and playing stepmom to their kids [Mason, 7, Penelope, 5, and Reign, 2].”

Lionel, 68, agrees. “I am scared to death. Are you kidding me?” he said in early October when asked how he felt about his youngest daughter dating the notorious addict and party boy. The new American Idol judge has “accused Scott of being a bad influence on Sofia,” says the source. “Lionel’s terrified she’ll be led astray by Scott.”

Sofia was wary, too, at first. “She knew he was a womanizer, and at 19, she didn’t feel ready to settle down,” says the source. “But they’ve fallen in love.” Scott’s always wanted to be married, admitting he proposed to Kourtney, who turned him down. But now, despite years of failed rehab attempts and life-threatening overdoses, “He claims to be a changed man,” says the source. “He’s much more well-behaved with Sofia.” Now Scott can’t wait to make Sofia his bride. “Despite the huge age gap,” says the source, “he feels that Sofia is the only person who understands him.”
