What do you get when you put a Housewife next to a Shark? Surprisingly enough, not a bloodbath! Shark Tank star Daymond John admits he was “pleasantly surprised” by Season 9 guest star Bethenny Frankel. “I had this perception that [the Real Housewives] just get drunk and argue and throw wine on each other,” Daymond, 48, tells Life & Style. But Skinnygirl creator Bethenny, 46, is a savvy businesswoman, as he soon realized. “She knows marketing and branding, and she brings a passion,” says Daymond. “And she also was very, very inviting to the entrepreneurs and was all about what could she do for them.”

Bethenny caught Daymond off guard on Shark Tank. “She is very humble,” he tells Life & Style, “and that is not what I used to see” from her on Real Housewives.
