Khloé Kardashian’s first baby arrives just two days after Tristan Thompson’s shocking cheating scandal explodes.
Khloé Kardashian always called motherhood her “greatest dream” — and it finally came true on April 12. Early that morning in a Cleveland hospital, she delivered her first child, a beautiful baby girl. Her boyfriend of 20 months, Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson, was there, as were her mom, Kris Jenner, sisters Kourtney and Kim, and best friend Malika Haqq.
But Khloé’s baby joy was mixed with misery. Just two days earlier, Tristan, 27, was exposed as a cheater when photos and video of him with other women hit the internet. While Khloé, 33, was stuck at their Cleveland home preparing to give birth, video and photos shot on April 7 and 8 showed the NBA star canoodling with Bronx, N.Y., Instagram model Lani Blair at NYC rooftop hot spot PH-D before taking her back to his team’s hotel. The pair left hours later to party at NYC’S Soho House, where a source exclusively tells Life & Style “they were making out in front of everyone — he wasn’t hiding it.” Later on April 10, another video emerged showing Tristan hooking up with two women at a Washing- ton, D.c.–area hookah bar last October, kissing one woman and being groped by the other after she pushed his head into her cleavage. “Khloé was hysterical when the videos emerged. She felt completely humiliated and couldn’t stop crying,” says a friend. Pals are divided over whether she’ll end things with Tristan or forgive him, but he destroyed the pure bliss she deserved to feel when they welcomed their daughter. “Tristan,” says an insider, “ruined what should have been the happiest day of Khloé’s life.”

texts she claimed were from Tristan, along with a few seconds from a sex tape (in which no faces could be seen), and claimed, “I’m pregnant, too.” The next day, news broke that a sex tape featuring Tristan and his ex Jordan Craig — who was pregnant with his son, Prince, when he started dating Khloé in 2016 — was stolen last fall, though it was destroyed before it could be released.
The new mom never expected to face such heartbreak and happiness at the same time. “She’s in disbelief. It feels like a bad dream,” says the source. “She’s trying to be strong for the baby, but it’s not easy. She thought she was in a loving relationship and that this was forever.” The source believes she’ll end things with Tristan for good: “She’s not going to stay with him. She says she can raise her baby alone.” But others aren’t so sure. After all, she allowed him in the delivery room — and she tried to make it work with Lamar, 38, for years after his infidelities were exposed. “She’ll break up with Tristan for a while,” says the insider. “But sadly, Khloé will probably take him back.”
