J-LAW WAS BURGER CRAZY
Accepting a Screen Actors Guild Award back in 2013, Jennifer Lawrence thanked MTV for giving her one of her first roles, in a promo for the show My Super Sweet 16. But while she was front and center in that ad, it wasn’t J-law’s only commercial in her early teen years. When she was 14, the future Oscar winner memorably appeared as the girlfriend of Whopper Jr. in a Burger King spot in which the original Whopper calls out his son for selling himself for just $1. Though Jennifer, 27, was just a supporting player in this meaty family drama, her star quality was already obvious to everyone. Not many actresses could gaze adoringly at a life-size hamburger while listening to lines like, “Girl, I am made to order.”
