COURTING TROUBLE

-

One of Bachelorette Becca Kufrin’s top contenders has a shocking criminal past!

Becca Kufrin developed feelings for a few guys this season on The Bachelorette, but one of the suitors she fell for shouldn’t even have been there. Lincoln Adim, who won a wedding- themed challenge in Week 2 and took a photo at the altar with Becca, was convicted in a Boston courthouse on May 21 of indecent assault and battery stemming from a 2016 groping incident — a charge that somehow completely slipped by the reality show’s production staff. “No one on The Bachelorette production had any knowledge about the incident or charges when Lincoln Adim was cast, and he himself denied ever having engaged in or having been charged with any sexual misconduct,” parent company Warner Bros. said in a statement. Producers were unable to explain how their background check (done by an outside party) missed the charges. According to the arrest re- port, Lincoln groped and grinded against an adult female on the Spirit of Boston cruise ship on May 30, 2016, despite her attempts to push him off. Lincoln, 26, was sentenced to a year in prison, but the sentence was suspended and he was given two years’ probation and ordered to attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week. Lincoln also filed a motion to be relieved from having to register as a sex offender. “He had a reputation as a partier who loved wom- en,” a college friend tells Life & Style. “[But I] never saw him cross the line.” It’s just the latest in a string of disasters for Becca, 28. Football player Clay Harbor suffered an injury on set and had to leave the show, and Garrett Yrigoyen — who got Becca’s first impression rose — came under fire for offensive posts on Instagram. That’s a problem Lincoln is likely to avoid: As soon as the news of his conviction broke, he changed his account to private.
