Khloé Kardashian ignores her sisters’ objections and accepts Tristan Thompson’s proposal.

Two months after giving birth to daughter True, Khloé Kardashian finally got the push present she’s been waiting for: a giant diamond ring from Tristan Thompson! “He secretly popped the question recently,” says an insider. But instead of celebrating their engagement, Khloé, 34, and Tristan, 27, looked like they were on the verge of breaking up at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood on June 24. “Tristan spent the whole night on his phone. He paid no attention to Khloé at all,” a witness tells Life & Style. “She looked so upset.” Khloé’s tried to put their problems behind them, staying with the Cleveland Cavaliers forward even though he cheated on her while she was pregnant. But her famous family has given her a hard time. “Kim and Kourtney were furious when Khloé took Tristan back,” says the insider, adding that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star can’t fully enjoy the engagement because she’s so worried about their disapproval. “Khloé put a ton of pressure on Tristan to propose so she could prove to her family and her fans that he’s a changed man.” But they’re not buy- ing it — and fans are skeptical, too. When one of her Instagram followers expressed how “disappointed” she was in Khloé for giving Tristan a second chance, Khloé tried her best to explain “the enormous rebuilding” it took for her and Tristan “to even coexist.” For now, Khloé is just ignoring the criticism. “She sees the engagement,” the insider says, “as a fresh start.”
