Money can’t buy you love — or the perfect wedding. Just ask Kristen Bell, 37, and Dax Shepard, 43. After dating for six years and being engaged for four, the lovebirds sneaked off for their dream nuptials: a quiet ceremony at the Beverly Hills County Clerk’s Office in 2013. The bride wore a black jumpsuit (picked out by the groom) from her own closet and had no family or friends present. But Kristen says “it was still one of the best days of my life.” It was pretty great for their wallets, too. “All in, with fuel to get there,” says Dax, “[it cost] $142.”
