The singer showed off her rock-hard abs while celebratin­g her 49th(!) birthday with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez and their blended family in the Bahamas on July 24. “J. Lo and A-rod love working out together,” says a source. “It’s a lot more fun than exercising alone.” The triple threat trains two hours a day, six days a week, and her workout includes everything from cardio and circuit work to kickboxing and weights. “J. Lo doesn’t deprive herself, but she’s careful about what she eats and sticks to a high-protein diet,” says the source, adding that the dancer avoids caffeine, dairy and sugar. “Most people gain weight when they’re in love, but not J. Lo!” says the source. “She’s in the best shape of her life, and A-rod is her biggest motivator.”
