EMMA WAS TOO BUSY BEING BELLE

After agreeing to star in 2017’s Beauty and the Beast, Emma Watson was asked to play Mia in La La Land, which would have shot first. But exhaustive pre-production on the Disney flick forced her to say no. “[ Beauty] wasn’t a movie I could just sort of step into,” explains Emma, 28, whose La La Land replacement, Emma Stone, 29, went on to win a best actress Oscar. “I knew I had horse training, I knew I had dancing, I knew I had three months of singing ahead of me and I knew I had to be in London to really do that.”
