Jen’s REVENGE BODY at49!

Six months after her split from Justin Theroux, Jennifer Aniston is moving on — and getting even

-

Just six months after her split from husband Justin Theroux, a tanned, toned and gorgeous JENNIFER ANISTON posed for the September issue of Instyle — and let readers know that she feels just as good as she looks. People think “that I’m sad and heartbroken,” Jen, 49, said in the interview, conducted by her good friend Molly Mcnearney (aka Mrs. Jimmy Kimmel). “With all due respect, I’m not heartbroken.” For more on Jen’s new life as a single woman,

Sunning herself on a beach in Portofino, Italy, in a skimpy bikini, Jennifer Aniston turned heads for all the right reasons in late July. “Jen’s looking better than ever,” says a source. “She’s on the cusp of turning 50, but she has the abs, arms and legs of a 30-year- old. She really looks like a completely different woman lately.”

She feels like one, too. Though she was crushed in the weeks after her February split from husband Justin Theroux, Jen, 49, has since transformed herself into a taut, toned and confident goddess — and she’s loving her single life more than she ever thought possible. “Justin expected Jen to fall apart after they announced their separation, but to his surprise, she’s done the exact opposite,”

says an insider. “She proved to Justin she can easily survive without him, and she’s happier than ever. It’s the ultimate revenge.”

SHAPING UP

Jen’s newfound self-confidence didn’t happen overnight. The Friends alum was deeply hurt when Justin, 46, stepped out with a string of younger women, including her friends Emma Stone, 29, and Selena Gomez, 26, soon after the split. “She was depressed about her age,” the insider says, “and seeing Justin with younger girls rubbed salt in the wound.”

But with the help of her close friends, Jen devel- oped a new attitude. Pals like Courteney Cox, manager Aleen Keshishian and Jason Bateman’s wife, Amanda Anka, “rallied around Jen and helped rebuild her confidence,” the insider says. “Instead of sitting around moping, she decided to pull herself together.” She started eating healthier and embarked on a rigorous exercise schedule. “Once she got into a bet- ter mental place, she went to work with a trainer six days a week, toning up her body and spending more time with her yoga instructor.” She’s also gotten into boxing, she recently told Instyle. “There’s something about the mental aspect of boxing — the drills, your brain has to work, you’re not just sitting on a bike,” she says. “It’s amazing.” An added benefit? “Boxing is a great way to get aggression out,” she says pointedly. “You…have little fantasy moments imagining who you’re actually punching. I’m just grateful it’s not actually the person, even though there’s one person. You know what I mean.”

If she does mean Justin, she’s not saying. But she’s definitely not dwelling on the past. Jen’s started dating again, going out casually with a few entertainment industry execs. “Guys are lining up,” says the insider, though Jen’s in no hurry to rush into another relationship. “She’s having fun, but she’s enjoying her freedom.” She also enjoys showing her ex that she’s bounced back. “She loves proving to him,” the insider says, “that she’s moved on.”
