Brad Pitt wasn’t sure he’d ever get to spend quality time with his kids again after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, requesting full custody of their six children, Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. So when the judge in the couple’s ongoing divorce battle ordered Angie to let her ex have more days with them this summer, the newly sober 54-yearold actor made sure his brood enjoyed every minute they spent with him in LA. “Brad indulged their every whim, ordering pizza, stopping for Mcdonald’s and letting them blast rock music late into the night,” an insider tells Life & Style. “If the kids wanted to race go-karts or try an escape room, he made it happen.” The star also studied up on all their hobbies. “Pax wants to be a DJ, Zahara and Vivienne love doing arts and crafts and Knox is obsessed with reptiles, especially his pet snake,” says the source, who adds that Shiloh has become a photography buff like her dad. “But more importantly, Brad began to rebuild his fractured relationship with Maddox, teaching him how to drive a few months ago.” Though FBI and child services investigations ultimately cleared him of all abuse allegations following an incident with his eldest son in September 2016, “it hasn’t been easy for Brad. Angelina has done everything she can to keep the kids away from him,” notes the source. “He’s so glad he finally got the chance to reconnect with them this summer.”
